Belfast, a semi-autobiographical drama, is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, and the People’s Choice Award at the recent Toronto International Film Festival is testament to the quality of the production. Belfast is the tale about Buddy (Jude Hill) an 11-year-old boy who grew into Northern Ireland during the Troubles. Cooper Hoffman stars as fifteen-year-old Gary, who is fast to come up with business ideas and strategies. Alana Haim is Gary’s photo assistant. She is less mature than Gary.
