The Russian military’s latest aggression: firing a missile near a British plane over the Black Sea
Two Russian fighter aircrafts flew in danger close to an aircraft within the UK The UK stopped military patrols in the Black Sea. The incident happened on the night of September 29, as per the Defence Secretary Ben Wallace. Russia acknowledged that it happened in the international airspace. Two Russian-armed SU-27 fighter planes “shadowed” the RAF RC-135 plane, which is regularly flying over the Black Sea. Wallace told parliament that Britain had stopped all patrols following the incident. They also expressed concern with Sergei Shoigu, Russia’s Defense Minister. The confrontation between the Russian plane and Rivet Joint took around 90 minutes.
